What will it actually cost you?
Published starting prices in this category are not comparable to each other, because some are billed per location, some per user, and some flat. Enter your shape and see the same thirteen platforms converted onto one basis, with onboarding fees folded into year one.
This covers the entry tier of every platform that publishes pricing. It is a floor, not a quote — most practices end up on a middle tier with paid modules attached. Use it to eliminate options and to spot where the per-location and per-user models cross over.

Reading the result
The ordering usually changes as you add locations or staff, and that is the point. A platform that looks cheapest for a solo practice can be the most expensive at three locations, and a per-user product that looks trivially cheap at $15 becomes mid-market once six people log in.
Year one includes any published one-time onboarding fee. Aesthetic Record's $399 startup investment is the largest published example, and it does not appear anywhere near the $15 headline on their pricing page.
What this deliberately does not model: paid add-on modules, text and email overages, payment processing spread, and migration costs. Those vary too much by practice to fake precision. The pricing database lists them per vendor.
