About MedSpaStack
MedSpaStack is a pricing and capability research project covering med spa and aesthetics practice management software. It is run by one person, and it does one thing carefully rather than many things approximately.
Who runs it
Seounghoon Kim — founder and editor. My background is in software, not in aesthetics medicine, and I want that stated plainly at the top rather than buried.
What I bring to this category is not clinical experience. It is a willingness to read twenty-four vendors' pricing pages properly, notice that four of them bill per location while one bills per user, work out what that does to a real invoice, and publish the result with a date on it. That work is unglamorous, nobody else in this niche was doing it consistently, and it turns out to be what buyers are missing.
What we claim, and what we don't
We claim accuracy about software. Prices, tier structures, billing bases, onboarding fees, add-on modules, and whether a platform documents genuine clinical charting. Every one of those is verifiable from public sources, and we show our source and date on each vendor page.
We do not claim clinical or regulatory authority. We will not tell you what your practice must document, whether a treatment requires supervision, or how your state regulates medical direction. Those questions belong to your medical director, your attorney, and your state board. A software comparison site answering them would be doing you harm.
Where a question sits on the boundary — for example, whether a platform's consent capture is adequate for your treatment mix — we describe the capability and tell you to verify it against your own requirements. That is the honest edge of what we can know.
Why this exists
Med spa software is sold with headline prices that bear little relationship to the invoice. A $15 tier that is actually per user. A $140 tier that is promotional, annual-billing, and per location. Charting, e-prescribing, forms and marketing broken out as paid modules. Onboarding fees that appear at contract, not on the pricing page.
Meanwhile the comparison content that ranks for these searches is largely written by vendors about themselves, or by sites with undisclosed commercial ties to a platform they recommend. There was room for someone to just publish the numbers, dated, with the fees included.

If you are a vendor and something here is factually wrong, send the source and it will be fixed and re-dated quickly. If you disagree with an editorial classification rather than a fact, send your position and we will publish it alongside ours. We do not take pages down because a vendor dislikes an accurate finding.
If you are a buyer who was quoted something different from what we publish, that is the most useful email we can receive. Real quotes are how we find out where published pricing has drifted.
